Plot:

Flower Boy Ramyun Shop will be a 16-episode drama premiering on October 31. Its story is about a ramyun shop owned by a chaebol high school student, Cha Chi-Soo. The shop will be operated by high school boys too, except the manager, who is a university student, Yang Eun-Bi and the chef Choi Kang-Hyuk. The plot will be revolving around the romance of the owner, the manager and the chef, although there is a bit of an age-gap.

Although this drama hasn’t even broadcasted its first episode, but it surely attracts quite an attention. Most of all because its leading man, Jung Il-Woo. I’ve got to know him through 49 Days, wich was one of my favourite dramas, until they killed the girl in the end. It was SO NOT FAIR. Right? Right?! So yeaaah, the Scheduler is baaack and so am I. Ehem.

Back to the drama, maybe some of you’ve thought that its concept is similar to the one Coffee Prince had few years ago. The receipt is simple: 1. Get a few flower boys 2. Put them together in a shop 3.Throw one woman between them and 4. TADAA, you’ve got a loveline between the boss and the worker. And although it looks similar, it isn’t that much. In Flower Boy Ramyun Shop you will have high school boys working in a ramyun shop, so my guess is that it will be more ‘innocent’ than Coffee Prince was. Also, the roles are a bit twisted. In spite of not having a gender-bender ‘I love you even if you’re an alien’ situation, our boss here’s is a high schooler, 19-20 years old, while the manager-noona will be 5-6 years older than him. This means that although in terms of positions, the owner has the respect from the manager, but in terms of years, the noona could take the lead. And that’s what it makes so fun. At least I hope.

And although they released some trailers, they don’t show much of an information, so we still have to wait till Monday and see, where this goes. Till then, you should be satisfied with this:
